Cullen Friestedt has been manufacturing lifting and material handling devices under the C-F brand
label since 1907. Over the years the product evolved from simple crane mast and spreader beam
structure (for on site bridge construction) to heavy duty, in-plant mechanized below-the-hook
handling devices.
Product groups vary from sheet and panel lifters, automated coil lifters, C hooks, slab, tong,
and ingot lifters, railroad track panel lifters and rail threaders, 360 degree rotating hook
|
blocks, and long list of special application devices.
C-F Lifters are designed and manufactured to provide safe and efficient material handling operation in
some of the most demanding environments the industrialized world offers, such as: railroad, mining,
automotive, steel mills and service centers, foundries, wood processing, plastics, aluminum industries,
and a whole host of varied industries throughout the world. Lifting capacities vary from 300 lbs to
200 TONS. Many of the units produced from the mid point of the last century are still on site doing
their job. In fact, it is quite common for us to service a unit built in the late 1950's or early 1960's.
Our present 250,000 square foot facility is located on the banks of the Mississippi river in Winona,
Minnesota, and carries forth the same midwestern work ethic and commitment to quality created by our
founders in the early part of the 20th century.
Our staff of structural, mechanical, and industrial engineers currently have over one century of
experience in the material handling fields and are extremely well versed in modern material
handling trends, requirements, and specifications.
This is why we can proudly say C-F Lifters have been lifting the world since 1907.
