"C" Hook Coil Lifter |

Cullen-Friestedt "C" Hooks are specially designed and engineered for each particular operation. Main
frame is one-piece heavy steel plate construction, carefully finished to correct shape. Throat opening
and carry arm length are accurately calculated for specific range of coil sizes to be handled. All
units are fitted with a connected counterweight to assure level hanging posture when not carrying
load. The inside corners of the main frame are designed with an enlarged, hand finished radius. The
enlarged, hand finished radii eliminate flaws at critical stress points and allows the coiled material
to nest squarely to the inner throat.
The carrying arm of each "C" Hook unit is fitted with a contoured liner to prevent damage to the inner coil wraps. Available with plate, pin, or forged U type bails. Available in capacities from 1 - 150 Ton. Optional dual and articulated hook models available upon request. |
