Cullen-Friestedt Rotating Power Swivel units are designed to provide accurate power rotation of
various motorized or manual lifting devices while utilizing minimal overall below the hook height.
360° continuous rotation in either direction is standard for the suspension of manually operated
equipment. For suspension of electrically operated equipment, 340° or 360° rotation in either
direction, to a positive stop is available. Units are fitted with the Cullen-Friestedt Koiled Kord
wiring connection system, which provides many years of trouble free operation. Swivels have a heavy
duty load carrying anti-friction thrust bearing which rests on the unit's base plate to provide smooth
turning action of the load-carrying eye bolt. The drive train includes a motor, driving through a
torque limiting device to a high efficiency speed reducer, and a final drive either by chain and
sprocket or a heavy duty mill type pinion and bull gear. All units are available in a wide variety of
bail/pin options with will allow proper mating to crane hooks.
Units are available in standard weight capacities of 10 - 45 Ton.
